Written Aug 3, 2026Nova Lite is a proprietary text-and-image model from Amazon that can handle up to 300,000 tokens in a single request. It is priced identically across every host we track, and carries measured scores in six Arena leaderboard categories.
Choose this for long-document workflows where a 300,000-token request limit matters and proprietary hosting is acceptable. Use it for image-to-text tasks where you want the same rate regardless of which provider you pick. Skip it if you need downloadable weights, if you want to self-host, or if you need the fastest throughput and are puzzled by the 38 percent speed gap between two Bedrock listings at the same price.
The case for it
